Wisconsin 2016 Tax Updates

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue now allows a subtraction for contributions to Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) accounts owned by disabled persons.

There's a new Business Development Credit available to taxpayers certified by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) based on wages paid, training costs, and personal and real property investment.

If you have College Savings Accounts (EdVest or Tomorrow's Scholar) and your adjusted gross income is less than your contributions and carryover, your subtraction and carryover to future years may be adjusted.
