North Dakota 2016 Tax Updates

The North Dakota Department of Revenue now offers for taxpayers to receive their 1099-G(s) electronically. If you receive a tax refund for tax year 2016, a form 1099-G may be required for filing your 2017 taxes. While filing your 2016 tax return you can choose to receive this 1099-G on North Dakota's tax website. If you do not wish to receive your 1099-G electronically, one will be mailed to you.

The tax rates for North Dakota have stayed the same while taxable income thresholds have increased. This means that this year some taxpayers will have a lower tax liability than last year.
